These synthetic surgical sponges absorb fluids twice as fast as the best cotton sponges and have three times their fluid-holding capacity. They are made from strong, soft, lint-free, biocompatible-proven material which is non-irritating to tissue and leaves no fibrous residue which might cause wound contamination. They are sterilized by radiation and come in clear, sealed packages.
